The essence of the method:
It consists in heating a sample of petroleum product in an open crucible at a set speed until there is a flash of vapors (flash point) of the petroleum product above its surface from an incendiary device and until further heating ignites the product (ignition temperature) with a burning duration of at least 5 s. The method is applicable for petroleum products with a flash point above 79 Gorenje°C. Main Features:
